April 2, 201016 yr Author I like putting calorie numbers on the menu. That way I can get the most(calories) for my money. Heck, if a Big Mac has say 500 calories and a Whopper has 600 calories and they are the same price. I will go to BK and get more for the same price. I'd be willing to bet that it will be used in that manner more than what it is intended for. The government strikes out again.

April 3, 201016 yr I saw where Wendys has their salad calorie counts posted on a display board in their restaurant. It made me switch to the BLT Cobb Salad.

I am traveling somewhere and run into a Jack in the Box, that I have never ate at before. And I don't have access to a computer. THe company should be able to provide me with nutritional information on their food. What if I had a peanut allergy and did not expect any peanuts to be in a recipe. But they were.

I know what we are talking about here are nutritional values. Calories, Fat gms, Sodium, and the like. I'm not sure that ingredients are included in this. Can someone clarify

They are able to, nothing is preventing them from giving out this information. If it is a big need from consumers then more places would post the info and the ones who do not, consumers would stop going to those restaurants.

Simple, use common sense. If you're on a diet, don't eat at Jack in the Box. Peanut allergy.....Ask? :idunno: I know it's a crazy approach, but give it it a whirl.
