Pitino?

His name certainly crossed my mind. How old was he when Providence made it? How about Donovan when he took the Gators the first time?

I know contract mean zilch but didn't he sign a new one prior to this season? I don't see him leaving after this season, plenty of studs returning for the Bulldogs, they only lose one starter.

From what I can gather, Stevens is the youngest to lead his team, while Knight is the youngest to win (35).

Both were 34.

Pitino was 34 in 1987.

Donovan was also 34.

So Stevens is the youngest?

So Stevens is the youngest?

Knight was 32 in 1973 when IU went to the F4.

How old is Stevens? He looks like he is straight out of high school.

He's 33.

He broke the NCAA record for most wins in a coach's first three years.

Should be taken into consideration that Brad Stevens is an Indianapolis guy. He grew up in Zionsville, went to College at nearby Depauw, started coaching at Carmel, and ended up at Butler. Does the fact that he is an Indiana born and raised guy play into his decision of whether or not to leave Butler? Just a thought.

I think Stevens is in a similar situation as Mark Few at Gonzaga. Butler has been pretty good for several years and this Final Four only makes attending there more appealing. And it's not like Butler doesn't have any money. It's small, but they can pay a little bit. I believe it would take a whole lot from a really good job to get him to leave Butler, just like I believe it would take a whole lot from a really good job to get Few to leave Gonzaga.
