Coach Bob Hall Passes Away

Featured Replies

I hate hearing this, Coach Hall was a friend and a good guy. Sat with him at many a Mason County sporting event; he led Fleming County and Maysville to the state tournament in the 1970s. He was able to attend most of the Royals' regular-season football and basketball games this season, but was unable to watch the basketball team in the post-season.

RIP, Coach.

Coach Hall did a great job at Bracken, lead the Polar Bears to an upset of Mason County in the 1989 regional tournament.

Talked with Coach Hall a couple of months ago, had great knowledge of the game of basketball and could sit and talk with him for hours. One of the 10th Regions greatest will be truly missed.

Extremely sorry to hear of this. Coach Hall was a great guy and a great coach. He will be greatly missed.

Its a big loss to the community as Coach was a great guy..

R.I.P. Coach Hall

Coach Hall has been my next door neighbor since the spring of 2003. What a blessing he and his family have been and continue to be. It has been great to be able to walk next door and visit with a wise old coach. I can't begin to describe how much I will miss those talks and visits. He had a big heart!

Spent some time with him at the Berea Junior All-Star game last spring.

He was truly a 10th Region icon and will be missed.

He dedicated his life to basketball at every level and was never too busy or too affluent to help "kids". A truly tragic loss to all of us but especially his family. Thanks "Coach" Hall for your time here.
