March 26, 201016 yr His run has ended, he missed Butler winning. Heck of an accomplishment to get them all right up until now though.
March 26, 201016 yr I don't think its real in the first place. The kid says he studies number all season to help him make his bracket selections? C'mon kid how do you pick the Northern Iowa, St. Mary's, and Ohio upsets when you know that those teams shouldnt match up and beat the teams they beat. And with all those first and second round close games the buzzer beaters conviently helped you so that you didnt miss a game. The rest of his bracket isnt going to play out so well but in a year where everyones bracket is garbage they just have to make up something to make you feel like you know nothing about basketball. "I study numbers all season" Yea right :irked:

"I study numbers all season" Yea right :irked: I've noticed in all my bracket pools this year that people with limited knowledge of college basketball have excelled. I don't think it is fake. I know a lot of kids with autism and they can flat out beat just about anyone in a numbers game, that includes stats, records and percentages.
March 26, 201016 yr If its a numbers game of records and stats then what is his logic for picking Northern Iowa over Kansas. Kansas averaged 81 pts a game during the season while Northern Iowa averaged 63. Ok, lets say he did pick the upset. But he picked it on the same bracket with all the other upsets that he supposably got right, the bracket where every buzzer beater and every missed shot at the buzzer seemed to help him win every game. I just don't believe it. Even when playing the odds of seeds to advance (which he didnt do) there is a 1 in 390,625 of picking a perfect round one.

My wife just missed 5 in the 1st round. Texas, 1 point loss. Georgetown, huge upset. Vandy, last second shot got beat. Florida, 2 OT loss. UofL, the only landslide. Had TX maintained its lead and Georgetown hadn't pulled the biggest choke of the tournament and Murray st. hadn't hit a last second buzzer beater that was unreal and Florida would've won in regulation and 1 OT like they had it then my wife only had 1 legit loss, Louisville. It isn't that far fetched.

March 26, 201016 yr He only missed one last night. With the way he has the tourney playing out, I'm glad he finally missed one. As a Cat fan, I would have been getting worried if his bracket was still perfect.
March 26, 201016 yr Who said he used that stat, he may have used FT % Northern Iowa 75% KU 66% Ok maybe he did, but im sure he didnt use that same logic in all the other games he picked Why would that matter anyway, last time I checked the team with the most points win the game. And missing only 5 in the first round is very different from picking every 1st and 2nd round winner. Im sure tons of people picked Northern Iowa over Kansas (not in a money bracket of course) but they didnt pick every other upset and winner to go along with that. I cant believe people actually think this is real.
