I don't hate anyone, I don't think they could play any better than they did in the regional finals.

Waldo, you can't make any statements about MC without them taking offense. I agree with you the guards carry the team and it will be hard for them to put on a much better show than they did in the regional finals.

The Mason County guards did play well in the Regional Finals, but they were far from perfect. I don't know much about North Hardin so I will not predict the outcome. Hope the Royals come ready to play and can pull out a victory. Go Royals!

North really knows how to attack the glass...big, physical, fast, and high flying. North is a tough out for ANYBODY in this tournament.

I got to see Franklin County play North Hardin in the KY Prep Classic. I was not impressed. Franklin County beat them by 26 points. Athletically they were very impressive, but they played like 5 individual players instead of like a team.

That was December. This is March. NH is a very different team now.

For Mason County to win they will have to do better than 13-26 from the line.

North Hardin is pretty weak from a weak region. Mason Co should win easily.

True, the 5th Region has been weak recently, but that doesn't necessarily mean NH is. They took care of business against their 5th Region competition, and got better as the season went along.

From what I hear North Hardin will be a tough out and they are very similar to Clark County. The relentless Royals pressure will wear on North Hardin as did on GRC. Pressure along with rebounding and aggressiveness will carry the day.

Huh? North has been the pick in the 5th all year. And be forewarned, Mason fans, not to engage in a whole bunch of group-think and overlook the dangerous and underrated Trojans. Plus, the Trojans are playing with a lot of emotion after the death of one of their teammates last summer.

 

Mason County has a little of that extra emotion to play for as well. Their team manager was recently diagnosed with cancer and has just returned from seeing a specialist in Boston for this tournament. He will return to Boston the week following the tournament for surgery. Good Luck Royals!!!!
