BTW the BCS is also a Mythical National title too so don't go there.

They have been saying things about how the only advantages they have is this love of the kids and being able to raise funds for Trinity all on their own without the Archdiocese. And then she throws out the stuff about money for a bus ride. That is when I countered with what she gave me. Public Schools love their kids too, and we can still talk about this with out attacking each other personally. Why does the fact that they are "Family" or love their kids give them the onus to down Manual or take it personally that my Principal is voting against their wishes?

That is when I countered with what she gave me. No, Ram...we have NOT said those are our ONLY advantages. We HAVE said we are able to raise funds for Trinity. But we're not talking about funds for capital improvements, or a set amount for a certain project. We're talking about an unknown quantity. It's really nice that you find it appropriate to snipe about what we have been able to do, as if it's something we should be ashamed of. It's also galling that your post quoted directly above, implies that we should be ashamed of what we want to do for our kids. I'm glad my tax dollars are able to help Manual get to the National Science Fair though. It makes me really happy to know that I'll continue to fund your kids and support their efforts, whether academic, athletic, or artistic, while you support the proposal to eliminate our kids from competing with you.

Well my tithe money gave seed money for your football field. And I have no problem with that. I am not saying that it is something you should be ashamed of at all you are taking that the exact wrong way. I am saying that without having to play Southern, Seneca, Ballard, and others you could be going to play more Males, Warren Centrals (IND), Lexington Catholics, Highlands, Elders, MBA's and others and I am saying that you have the resources to do it. You should be proud of that, not snipeing at me that we should have to pay for your travel.

That's a good point. I think parents that send their kids to the evil private schools should be exempt from any taxation that goes to fund the public school system from which they've been banished.
