I would agree with you this score sounds about right.

I think this will be a better game than most think. Honestly, Scott County is likely going to win this game. Both teams are familiar with each other due to already playing. Scott may have underestimated Corbin earlier in the year a little too. With that said, Corbin will not be intimidated. Also, if Scott County does what most believe they will, I still do not think it will be a lopsided score. Billy has too much class for that and would not do that to Coach Pietrowski.

 

In the end, I think Scott county will win but get a heck of a fight from the Hounds.

Scott Co. has more talent than anyone in the Sweet 16. They should win this game and the title. I watched them on Wazoo and they look and play like a small college team. Congrats to the Hounds and Good Luck.

Scott is the heavy favorite and should be. However, I think that playing them in the first round is the only possible advantage the Hounds have. If Scott gets settled in at Rupp it'll be hard to get them to leave.

1st meeting was at Clay Co. with 13th region officals. Pups got a few breaks and Scott Co. appeared to sleep walk through most of the game.

 

Scott will use the bigger floor to spread Corbin out and attack them 1 on 1.

 

Corbin will play hard but SC will move on with ease at the end.

Corbin will have to play much better than they did in the earlier meeting to have any shot to advance. Corbin turned the ball over way too many times and did not handle the Scott Co. pressure very well. It was early and several of the Corbin players were facing this type of pressure for the first time, so maybe they will be stronger with the ball this time around. I feel pretty confident that the coaching staff will have them as prepared as possible, although it's impossible to emulate Scott Co.'s size and quickness with your reserves.

 

Scott Co. did not do a good job of turning the Corbin turnovers into easy points in the first game, wouldn't count on that again, and also played a little selfishly. Euton hurt Corbin worse than anyone else in that game if I remember correctly, so keeping him from going off from the 3 point line will be important as well.

I like Scott County in this game, but I think it will be by less than 5 points. I wouldn't be surprised if Corbin did come out on top in this one though.
