The Professor Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Why are they playing the semi games so early in the day?
the mathemagician Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Hounds win this one with excellent defense. Clay slowed the tempo but had trouble scoring the ball.
WILDMAN Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Why are they playing the semi games so early in the day? The two boys semifinals are in the afternoon. The girls championship is this evening. The boys championship game is Monday night.
nedreader Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Next year will make 10 yrs. since Clay Co. has made the Sweet 16. Will a change be made or will it be more of the same?
4chs Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Next year will make 10 yrs. since Clay Co. has made the Sweet 16. Will a change be made or will it be more of the same? I think Clay Co. may be the team to beat next year. They just appeared to lack enough offensive weapons today to beat Corbin, not sure who they lose, but was told that most everyone would be back. I thought they made some good adjustments by posting up against some of the Corbin guards, just couldn't really finish enough times.
wideopen Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Next year will make 10 yrs. since Clay Co. has made the Sweet 16. Will a change be made or will it be more of the same? I look for Clay to make a change next season, but I would like to see them give the coach one more year. Clay will be the top team next season and Bell should be ranked second.

Clay will be the top team next season and Bell should be ranked second. Spurlock will be back. He is a very good coach and Clay brings back more than most in the 13th for the 2010-2011 season. The region has been Corbin's for the past few years, .... it has been their cycle. They are the most talented team in the 13th and Coach P is a good coach. But next year, the region should be VERY wide open with all that Corbin & South are losing this season.

He and Bobby Keith aren't on the same page, and he (Keith) still calls the shots when it comes to Clay County b-ball. I don't know how its been Corbins region the past few years, they made to the show last year but before that SL owned the 13th.
nedreader Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Who does Clay lose? I thought they lost Reed, Gay and another starter but I could be wrong. I guess it's always up in the air with Hooker's ACL injury too.

wideopen Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 They lose Reed and Wilson. They will have Hooker, Mitchell, and Roberts back.
HDE Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Clay should be ranked No. 1 next with Hooker, Roberts, Mitchell and Gay returning. My guess is that England will round out an all-senior lineup. Sophomore Zach McGeorge and freshman Kody Reed were the only others to see action Saturday.
