I am so proud of this group of boys. They never gave up. They were not even considered in the preseason top 10. Yet they continued to rise to the occasion. They won the Clinton County tournament and beat Grant, Conner, Bracken, St. Patrick, Paris, Bourbon, and Nicholas on the road and had big home wins over Madison Central, Deming, and Pendleton County. They were even able to play with GRC 2 of the 3 times they played. I am especially proud of my son. He always played as hard as he could and never backed down in the post although most if not all the time he gave up 2-3 inches in height. I am proud of my Indians.

I was very glad to see the Wildcats advance, I not for sure why the indians didnt give it to the freshman more, he became hot late in the third and they quit giving it to him. Nice Job indians aswell.

Congrats to the Wildcats. Pendleton/Mason on the same side of the gym, so I had the pleasure of talking with a couple of "track parents" throughout this one. Very large and supportive crowd cheering on the Wildcats.

Nice season for the Indians as well. Just seemed like Pendleton's balanced attack was a little too much for the (almost) one-man show from Prewitt, who is going to light up the 10th for several more years.

Close game all the way through. Montgomery flattened out at the end and seemed to be forcing a lot in the 3rd and 4th. Pendleton hit some big shots down the stretch and Montgomery couldn't come up with an answer.

Impressive crowd for Pendleton... especially the student section. Very creative with a lot of school spirit. Definitely one of the best I have seen this year.

Proud of this Montgomery County team...they were written off by most fans and spectators of the 10th region. Advancing to the final 8 is something to be proud of! This senior group is something special...they gave everything and expected nothing. What good leadership and role models for the following classes of players...Basketball will be good at Montgomery for years to come!

Thanks again Seniors!

From the previous post, it looks like they focused on the freshman to much.

The last loss for seniors is always a tough one. Believe me the Campbell faithful see it too often and too early. They should be proud to be in the tourney. Congrats to all the seniors.

I brought this up in a thread a while ago that it didn't seem like Prewitt's teammates were too crazy about getting him the ball. Did it seem that way tonight? Was there a lot of screening for him? I think I may have seen his two worst games this year, but in both he didn't get the ball as much as I thought he should.

How about those creepy masks Pendleton County's student section wore at times too? These students have been waiting for something to be this excited about since the Pendleton County team that went to Rupp Arena in 2006, and this team has given it to them. Pendleton's fans have done a tremendous job all postseason! :thumb:

Tough shooting night for Pendleton County's Tim Cooper and Garrett Ferrell. Also, tough to see Montgomery County senior Azery Crisp go out with a scoreless night. He is a very talented player, but just couldn't get it going tonight.

Omar Prewitt is a stud! That kid can shoot the lights out and showed his ability to attack the rim tonight as well. I'm looking forward to seeing he and Pendleton County's Mason Monroe battle over the next three years.

I mean I am all for giving the ball to the hot hand. He hit a couple three's and a layup in a row, and the seniors/juniors decided to try and win the game. You cant always be the hero, you have to get it to the hot hand.

Congrats to the the PC Wildcats on a hard fought victory.

The Prewitt Kid from MC, a freshman had 28 pts. He had 18 points in the first half. This kid is fun to watch and I will look forward to watching him for the next three years.

I would like to wish good luck to all the MC Seniors.

Good luck to the PC team tomorrow night against Mason Co.
