Pendleton County was having fun tonight.

 

Enjoyed watching them play. Great fan support. Super student-section. Good ballgame.

 

I know who Fred was rooting for. :lol:

Congrats to the Wildcats! I'd love to see these guys playing in the finals for a trip to Rupp.

I don't think the MC kids quit giving Prewitt the ball. He had a monster first half and Dillion Green was put on him the second half and slowed him down quite a bit. He is going to be a good one especially if and when he adds some pounds.

Dillon Greene "had that look" in his eyes last night that he nor his teammates were going to be denied the victory. Great game offensively and defensively for Dillon last night.

The PC Faithful and students were amazing last night. I would expect an even BIGGER crowd tonight. The kids that play for Pendleton past and present must feel like UK players feel with the post season following they get from their fans!

 

I am glad my team won the game last night and I enjoyed the victory, but I was sad for MC senior Azrey Crisp. Az had a tough night but is just a super kid! I have watched him play for the last six years and my family have become friends with Az, Austin and their parents Doug and Sylvia. They are good people and we will always treasure their friendship. I believe Az will play somewhere next year at the next level.

I've said this for many years, Pendleton fans are the best in the 10th region when it comes to supporting that basketball team! Whether it be district, region or state tournaments they bring it all out and pack whatever gym they're playing in. Wish more schools and communities would look over to Falmouth and copy what those people do. They have the support every school used to have back in the 50's and 60's and it is a shame some schools have lost it!

Impressive crowd for Pendleton... especially the student section. Very creative with a lot of school spirit. Definitely one of the best I have seen this year.

 

 

I believe the Pendleton students have been watching Cov Cath and youtube, so if that is creativity, then so be it.

 

But I must admiit they did a great job of coming together and pulling it off.

MC team dynamic changed with the injury to Brandon Fruth a few games back. This team was comfortable with him being at the point and they never seemed to get in a groove since his injury.

 

I think it changed AZ's game the most. Mostly, because it took him out of his reguarly position as he was required to run the point some. AZ did a nice job with all of it, but it did change the flow of play for him.

 

Down the stretch Tyler Fruth certainly gave his best effort to lead the team.

 

Omar is a great kid and will be an even better player. Pendleton frosh is also a nice player but his game is not in the same zip code of Prewitt's game.

 

I thought PC coach did a nice job of taking away the passing lanes from MC drive game. He coaches with a lot of passion.

 

PC played nice, but it seemed like every strange play or loose ball went their way. Once late in the game on PC's end several players were attacking a loose ball, the ball ejects out of the pile right under the rim where a PC player was standing. It was PC's night all the way around. Some games are like that, along with their good hustle play, PC had everything working their way.

 

Overall, a good game to watch.

I think all the Pendleton players were determined to win the game. When the starters hit the floor they were ready. Their teamwork was great. When Jones came off the bench he gave PC energy. He can get them fired up. Student section was great! Congrats PC!
