March 5, 201016 yr It's been within the last several months that I read about a white kid getting beat up by blacks simply because the kid was white. If you want to say there are more white racists in the US than black racists, I'll agree with you. But I won't agree there are no black racists. Don't act like it's not there. You'll just be added to my No Credibility List. I welcome exchanges with people who have views different than mine as long as there is some logic and reasoning behind their views. Arguing there are no racist blacks doesn't fit in that category. I guess I'll come clean and tell you that you completely missed the sarcasm in my posts. Perhaps a smiley was necessary... Additionally, I'd be surprised to learn I'm not already on your No Credibility List. God knows I've seen that line enough since I joined BGP. I don't think anybody views anybody as credible on this site. :idunno:

March 5, 201016 yr Rockmom... I am a Rock dad and love your Rock posts...but I got a question for you...Since Obama was elected....where are all the people mad about the War in Iraq. When Bush was in...nightly news with horrible news...Obama gets in...dont hear a word...dont you find that interesting? Where are the protesters?Because Bush started the war ... Obama is left with the task of cleaning up the mess.

Doesn't make sense, remember people being angry at Nixon for the Vietnam war when it was more Kennedy and Johnson's? It doesn't seem to me that Obama is prosecuting the war any differently than Bush so I would think the anger should still be there.

He's simply dealing with the situation left for him.
March 5, 201016 yr Obama has shifted the focus to Afghanistan. During Bush's presidency, Afghanistan was rarely talked about because Iraq was the focus. Now its been reversed. I think they've done a good job, politically speaking, of doing that. And, it doesn't hurt that the conservatives can't exactly criticize him or his administration for anything regarding Iraq. Technically, they could, but politically, I doubt it would go over with the masses. JMO

I'd hope that some of my more liberal friends would think my posts and reasoning are at least worth considering. Maybe not. I've actually changed my position on some matters (not many, but some) because of posts on here.

I've actually changed my position on some matters (not many, but some) because of posts on here. I agree with you. I especially look forward to your posts, as I know that they will be well thought out, non-reactionary and respectful. There are many other posters that I pay attention to, for a variety of positive reasons. I work hard to keep an open mind about most things and have also modified my stance on some issues, or at least put some things back in the "to be determined" column.

That in addition to my earlier tongue-in-cheek comment. FWIW, I enjoy your posts leatherneck.
