Just to stir the pot a little, could you imagine how bad the rumblings would be in Park Hills if the Colonels would have lost this game after the lead they had in the first 3qtrs?

This whole NKY area is down in all sports girls and guys ,For the girls I donot think there is one girl that can play D1 ball in the 9th , The guys only the Bulldogs have any body that can play D1 . In Football its way down Highlands keeps NKY in the news nobody else .Go on and try to prove me wrong but open your eyes and ask some of the guys that played in years past they will laugh at the way the kids play [ ITS JUCK] ......Now go ahead and take up for little jimmy and bobby jean LOL .......

Headed for the car at the end of the 3rd, not because I was certain that the Colonels had things under control, but because I couldn't bear to watch the ugliness anymore. :puke: :eek: Their lead at that point was because their awfulness wasn't nearly as bad as St. Henry's, however it was apparent that the Cru was remaining scrappy, and I thought that I wouldn't be surprised to hear as I turned the car radio on, that St. Henry had gotten back into the game, which we all know is what had happened. The remaining ugliness of the game was far more enjoyable listening to, and beating the crowd out of the parking lot than it would have been for me to watch. :ohbrother:

 

Now the first game tonight was awesome :thumb: Certainly worth the price of admission.

 

When is the last time the Colonels have played Newport? I honestly cannot remember. I don't think they typically schedule each other or have so for years. Does anyone have a clue to the answer to that question. :confused:

Colonels are in the semis and watching them get there was worth the little bit of traffic at the BOK. Took me about 5 minutes to get to I275. Although it wasn't all that pretty the two overtimes were worth the price of admission all by themselves. Sorry you missed it.

Could you list for us the D1 players over the past 10 years - boys and girls?

If you couldn't attend the game and didn't listen I implore you to go back to the live update thread I posted to read and then look at those pictures because hopefully then you would have felt like you were there. Bessler's effort was gutsy and full fledged the entire night. I would pick him on my team in a pickup game on a playground in Covington.
