WHat is the WTC Eris?

For what it's worth, my daughter has AT&T and she has had all kinds of issues with her service. Sometimes, she can't even use the phone in the house. She has to go sit outside just to get a signal. That's just crazy! We live right in Louisville. She shouldn't have any issues with getting service in the house!

I've had zero issues with AT&T service in town.

The way I understand it, the Eris is a scaled down version of Verizon's answer to the iPhone, the Droid. Can someone explain the difference between the Eris and Droid.

Anyting iPhone can do, Eris can do better! (Sing it...) Anyway...pretty much, everything iPhone can do. Plus, I can up load my gmail contacts automatically, and sync my contacts with their facebook profiles and that's really cool! And it updates automatically, I don't have to plug it in for updates. Email, internet, I can view attachments, work with documents... LOVE it!

 

 

Droid has a keyboard and is a little different and a little bigger than the Eris.

The size and weight were huge differences in my son's estimation. He felt the features were comparable, but that the Droid felt awkward. He also didn't like the keyboard. I don't personally know, but since this is only tad bit bigger than my Dare (which I loved), I really don't think I'd have liked a much bigger, heavier phone.

No kidding! I was seriously tired of always having the "look what I can do" thrown in my face.

 

I guess we will have to get a pizza and you can tell me how much better your phone is than my iPhone.

I have AT&T as well. Our corporate office is in Louisville so I have to travel up their from time to time and I have never had issues in Louisville with service. One of my customers is in Paoli and they have to use AT&T for their employee phones because you can't get Verizon service in their plant.

Just got an Eris myself. Very happy with it so far...

It's a pretty sensitive touch screen, so I doubt it would be ideal for you...
