Great win by the Raiders. I have no problem with Alan as a man only as a coach, just I think it's about time they win one in Union. I was impressed with McLeish and the way Ryle didn't even have to run its sets to score against a pour Boone defense. Don't forget, great players can overcome coaching too.

Wildcatfan probably is less than thrilled also.

There were nights this season where Boone Co looked very good and played up to their preseason billing. However, seemed like there were a lot of chemistry issues that they seemed to battle all season long from having a deep bench and who is getting minutes to style of play. Season is a grind anyway but even tougher with a lot of distractions.

 

Congrats to Ryle on district championship and if Boone Co can get things right in the next week they can still make a run.

Great win for the Raiders. Only the 2nd district championship in the schools history. Raiders played very well and Boone defense IMO was not that bad. Especially in the 2nd half. They really pressured Ryle but the Raiders were able to still get the ball up count and score. Wonder if it had anything to do with how they are coached? Anyway, Coach Mullins takes a lot of heat when things or going bad in Union and should now get some praise when things are better. Congratulations to the Raiders and good luck next week at the regional tournament. There should be some great games down at NKU.

Raiders also beat Highlands on the road. I would have to think both Ryle and NCC are playing the best at this point.

Fun to watch and plays great D every night. Certainly one of the unsung players in the region. Congrats to Mitch and the rest of the team! And, shame on anyone who quits anything unless it is a family/health emergency. Here's Ryle's luckiest possible draw scenario IMO assuming NCC beats Newport although that game could certainly go either way, and let's face it, there is some luck involved:
