Nobody wants to see 9th region snow. It's just a fact and tradition. Most people in this area are more familiar with and would rather watch the Lexington, Louisville or even 'mountain school' snow before they would Northern Kentucky snow. I wouldn't walk next door to watch Northern Kentucky snow and as you can tell most people agree. This is a Lexington-Herald snow area, not a Cincinnati Enquier snow area. :ohbrother:

Hope they can get this one in tomorrow- I believe that it's senior night in Independence. May need to bring in the sled dogs from the iditarod..........

Agreed. Even though the accumulation is the same its just a slow methodical boring dump of snow.

If a miracle happens and they play, I expect the CCH bigs will give SK some trouble. I don't think we'll get to see these two play, I hate to see Sr night canceled.

Kenton County school are closed as is CovCath on Tuesday as per WKRC.com and I don't know about SK but CovCath (at least back in the day) had a hard and fast rule of no school on play.

I don't keep track of cancellations from past seasons but I know this will be SK's fourth. They had a nice schedule of games against two of the tops in the 8th region (Shelby and Anderson Co) both at home cancelled.

Covcathiradio has the broadcast of the Cov.Cath. vs. Simon Kenton game listed for tonight (Wednesday). Now that the dust has settled on who is having school today, has there been confirmation that the game will be played on Wednesday?

I work with a woman who is the Aunt of one of the Senior Cheerleaders at SK and she just told me that SK and CovCath plays tonight.

 

When I asked her about SK not having school today, she just said all she knows is that they are playing.

 

CovCath BTW did have School today! So yes the game is on tonight at SK
