Remember how the Chicken Littles claimed snow storms in China a few years ago were directly linked to climate change? It was nothing more than an extreme event caused by very cold winter temperatures and a La Nina weather pattern.

These are simply weather events that occur naturally and every few years or few decades, everything just comes together right to produce an extreme event. It's just now it's being politicized to push agendas and reach lofty goals from those on the side with something to gain.....money.

I'm not sorry that I take all of these doomsayers with more then a grain (boulder) of salt. I'm old enough to remember when the hue and cry went out about another ice age being just over the horizon in the 70's.

I have no problem examining the verifiable facts and acting accordingly.

 

I have a HUGE problem with taking bits and pieces, bending, molding, twisting them into the most extreme view possible... then ginning up hysteria that we must act now to correct our sinful ways, make repairations, and trust politician messiahs like Al Gore to lead us (on our knees) into his version of the promised land. Gore is a tool with an agenda.

 

Let ALL the scientists do their work. Let's do our best to LEARN what is really going on, and THEN FIX what needs fixing. :thumb:

No, but they will, just as they claim it's "Climate Change" causing the snow and cold we're having now. I've never seen a more obstinate, dogged group of people then the originators of these claims. Add stroppy to that...
