Les is always ragging on GRC and posting how they are overrated. But every chance he gets he puts GRC down. But he is unwilling to post his own state ratings.

Agree on all accounts. Winchester is one of my favorite cities. Have friends there; even get my hair cut there. So I root for the Cards as well as the Hounds. I would love to see them face off in Rupp!

If you want recognition then you have to play a schedule that earns it. For ex. Male twice, Trinity, Seneca, Eastern, Scott Co., Lex Cath, Mason Co., Lafayette, and Ballard. I left a couple out. No matter the outcomes you will garner attention because these are some of the best programs in the state. By the way Clark County has all of these teams on their schedule. I fully believe if Corbin would put half of the teams on this list on the schedule and do well against them, win or lose, they would get more recognition.

I agree somewhat, 3 or 4 of those type teams on their schedule would have been good for Corbin to really gauge how good they are. On the other hand they just have to beat teams like they have played this year (for the most part) to get out of the 13th and on to Rupp. IMO the 13th is as weak as its been in a long time and the hounds should roll.

You also have to remember that all those schools are 90+ miles away...I doubt very seriously that Coach P. would want to play every Saturday during the season IMO.

 

But however, I do agree that Corbin should try to schedule alot harder teams.

Clay has played a harder schedule than anyone in the 13th. I think this will give the edge to Clay come region time over corbin.
