Come on guys we should be pullin for each other in games like these. I was disappointed to see WV lost and the same goes for GC the years they have went. But we all know its in good fun. Congrats to WV on their run in the A. Most importantly GC all of the 8th region as well as others are believing for strength and healing with the recent tradgedy.

 

Yes, I hope all the Gallatin County residents can overcome the recent tradgedy in the high school. Always pull for the 8th. Just like to have fun with everyone on here.

Walton played a good game for 3 quarters but got down in the 4th, missed a few easy shots, took some bad shots, and had to start fouling. They actually did a good job on defending Hall, he's a nice player. The better team won tonight. Good luck to both teams the remainder of the season.

Nice showing for the Bearcats in Richmond.

I watched the game on ICN 6. Keep in mind it was my first look at the Bearcats. A few things I took away from the game.

 

Burns is a nice player for WV with nice soft touch around the rim.

 

Cameron Hall is a very very good player.

 

Ponzer took some ill advised shots and is very emotional on the court. I know he has had big games this year but he has to keep it together in games like this. I believe he got his pocket picked a few times as well.

 

Sullivan is a heady player who may not have as good a stroke as his pops did but definitely can play.

 

Jeff Hall getting the Tech Foul was the play of the game. I think the TV guys were right. It put a fire under his team.

No excuses GATOR....We played a good game and like madman said took a couple bad shots, turned it over and Glasgow took care of business..no excuses. Glasgow is a nice team. Top 25 in the state. We knew going in that we would have our hands full and it would definately take the best game that we played all year to beat them.

I thought so a well. I have read in the papers where WV has lost to a couple teams they probably shouldnt have this season and thought this may not be close at all. I was pleasantly surprised they played so well outside of a few bad plays. Congrats to the Bearcats.

Have definately lost to a couple teams that we should have beat. I am sure like most teams they have the Jekyl and Hyde syndrome. Our kids play hard but they are kids and they will have bad nights. Thanks for everyones support down at the ALL A. The crowds were huge for both the boys and the girls. We by far had the most fans of any team there that I seen.

Thats why Richmond loves the 8th. It seems to me that the 8th always bring the most fans no matter who goes. The All A justs seems to be losing its importancy with some of the schools that go year in and year out.

You are correct. Gallatin has five All "A" 8th Region titles( 93,99,06,07, and 08). Carroll has four( 97,98,00, and 05). Walton has three total, one from the 9th Region(1990), two from the 8th Region (04,10).
