Rebels travel to Park Hills Tuesday night to take on the Colonels.

We get back on track, Boone by 8!

If nothing else, Cov Cath will have a hard time trying to determine who will be the Rebel who looks to score in this game. Boone, it seems, designates one scorer for each game and the rest of the team takes the night off.

 

I would like to see Popp and Gabbard get into the score book a little bit earlier and more often and Montgomery and Brown to both put in about 15 a piece.

 

Perhaps this is the game it all comes together for the Rebels and they 'all' show up.

CCR - Will the game be broadcast via the internet? I know a lot of the parents/grandparents/fans that can't get to the games love to listen on the internet. Being a Boone County fan, I wish they had someone that was as committed as you to broadcast the games via the internet. You do a great job!!! Don't be too rough on the Rebels tomorrow night if you do broadcast the game!!! LOL.

Here's my prediction. We are going to play better than people ancitipate. Boone may play better or they may play worse. We either win by less than 10 or lose by less than 10. Boone is a tough, tough team to guage. We would lose to the team that played Scott and we would beat the team that lost to St. Henry. As for the radio, J-man may still be on the DL as we find out more today about his ankle. I may need someone and BigDP, I think you would be perfect! Then you could become the voice of the Rebels you've been looking for!

If you want to increase listenership... I would go with 'Bad Moon Rising' :ylsuper: to kick off the broadcast and follow it up with a little 'Midnight Special' :ylsuper: at the half.

Hopefully, J-man will be back in action for tomorrow nights tilt. As far as myself doing the call, I'm to quiet and reserved to step out like that. To much out of my comfort zone!!!

Does anyone know who all is out for the Colonels? I know Evans and Maschinot are, but I also heard Hudepohl was icing his ankle after Saturday's game. Is he out? Anyone else I am not aware of?

If CCH can handle the perimeter pressure that Boone does so well at they can win. If they struggle with it they will struggle to score. That has to be Coach L's biggest concern.

If the guards can get it to the big boys in the paint, they are hard to stop! No one on the Boone team is of the quality of players as what stopped the CovCath big men Friday night as Euton and Jackson were for Scott County!

 

Should be a good game!
