I am somewhat surprised by this outcome but more surprised HC scored 61 points.

I am somewhat surprised as well.

I have to agree with your post, it seems like HC struggles to get out of the 30's and 40's on most nights. Here's their breakdown:

20's...llll

30's...llll

40's...lllw

50's...wwww

60's...ww

Indeed surprising but on any given night in the Ninth Region, anything usually can and does happen, this year just more so!

Wow! I don't think anybody saw this coming. Were all the Colonel's players sick?

Hatton saw a box and chaser most of the night and visibly did not like it.

Pike played well, but had a bad intentional foul in the last minute that was the beginning of the end for Dixie that included a T on the Dixie coach over an obvious blown call.

HC had a 2 fouls to goive in the last 20 seconds and the first was a visible grab similar to Pikes foul but it was not called.

No matter great win for HC.

Burger had a big night.

HC put up 30 in the 4th quarter.

The story I got was Dixie up 11 or 12 after 3 quarters and apparently the 4th quarter officiating was one for the ages. Word is the 3 officials will never walk into Dixie Heights again.

HC was up at half Dixie did build a lead but, they could not stop Burger.

Blaming the officials for blowing a lead of 10 with 4 minutes to go is hard to do.

The refs were not good, but compusure could have won the game.

That's the question of the day. How does HC score 30 points in a quarter when they are typically around 4o pts for 4 quarters? I know I'm curious.

Very surprised by this score. Anyone have stats?

Jake Burger puts 31 on Dixie. This kid is going to be one to watch for HC. Only a sophomore, he has led them in scoring the entire season. He works hard in the offseason and seems to have a very nice shot.

Hatton earning a box and 1 as an 8th grader is somewhat surprising.

Agree on both parts.
