I guess the Danville and Somerset runner up pics are surprising. I do see them as possible, just surprised that someone went out on a limb. Now if Lincoln gets the 3 seed in that district Danville has a better shot. In the 47th i guess any and everything is possible this year.

I can see Danville getting to region simply because the district tourney will be at their home court. All they have to do is beat whoever the 2 or 3 seed will be. I doubt they get the 1 seed, but then again.......you just never know.

 

 

I just hope Boyle can lock up the 1 seed on Monday night. I don't want to see Lincoln or Danville in a 1st round-win-or-go-home game.

Casey has the 4th seed in the 47th. If there is a 1 v 4 upset it could be there. Rockcastle is definitly the favorite, but Casey will be at home and the are very dangerous when the 3 is falling. They have several who can shoot the 3 very well.

I said it before the season started McCreary will walk through the 12th Region.

I think the Danville Boyle Co. game is the only one that will help shape the district pairings. The others are already set to play the first round of district and will only determine what color jersey they will be wearing.

With district play about half over, let's see those district predictions. Here are mine below:

 

45th District: Boyle should come out in the top spot, but Danville is a strong wild card for an upset if they make it to the finals. The second spot is between Danville and Lincoln.

 

46th District: I am going with West to repeat, some may call this an upset as Mercer looks strong. My Pick is West-1, Mercer-2.

 

47th District: Who Knows? Any thing can happen is this district. Rock should be the favorite. Casey may have the advantage with the home court in District play. If SHS finds some late season help they could be a wildcard. PC is right in the thick of things.

 

48th District: Baring any unforseen upsets, Watts, Dixon, and Roark should lead MC to the District and Region Championship. WC - SW to close to call, it is an any given sunday situation with them.

The 2 vs 3 games will be very competitive in 3 of the 4 districts.

Pulaski Co. is playing their best basketball right now which I think gives them the advantage over Somerset. But, the SHS/PC games have been very competitive both times they have played.

Southwestern beat Wayne Co. twice this year, but I still think Wayne has the edge in this game.

Lincoln will have a tough game on Danville's floor, but I don't see them not making the region tournament.

All three games will be great games.

I dont think all those matchups are correct. Mercer #1 seed in 46th. Not set in stone.
