McCreary won both games by nearly twenty. They won by 19 at home and 18 in the Wigwam. How does that constitute as "staying with them." Thing is, McCreary had an off night in Somerset when they played Southwestern and still beat them handily.

 

I'm not saying that Southwestern can't beat the Raiders, but you are making it sound like a missed shot here and there beat them.

 

what i am sayin is that Southwestern has the players to stay with McCreary, but McCreary pulled away in the second half of both games. If Southwestern can find a way to play with McCreary for a whole game then its gonna be on heck of a game. That night at McCreary Southwestern was down by 16 starting the 4th quarter and got down to 7 before they made a few mistakes that McCreary hit a few threes in a row down the stretch of the game. Southwestern has the capablity of beating McCreary they just gotta find a way to play a full game and believe in themselves.

After further review there are still other games to be played before the district is decided. PC still one game to go against Rock at Rock, one of their earlier games against rock was in a tournament and did not count. Still looks as if SHS will have to get the three seed to play PC in the first round. I don't look for PC to be Rock at their gym. But who know that is why they the games. The district championship is still up for grabs in the 47th, much like the district with Boyle, Danville, and Lincoln.

 

I still say that McCreary is an easy favorite and West is the pick in their district, with Mercer on their heals. Where is that District tournament being played?

I will have to agree with the Banker. McCreary may have something to do with Southwesterns inability to play a complete game.

 

With that said, I would not be surprised if Southwestern gave the Raiders a fight for the title (assuming the Raiders beat Monticello.)

Yes the district is in the Wigwam this year. I have talked to few of the players and they are ready for the district. McCreary has taken the post away from Southwestern the last time they played, they used Watts, Williams and their point guard to take Lewis away and forced Southwestern to beat them from the outside which they didnt so McCreary did do something about it but it was also Southwesterns fault. I wanna thank you real fan for your praise. I really appreciate it!

Wayne was not playing real well early on. Not saying they can beat McCreary, but things may very well be different next time with Southwestern.

You would think the SWHS and SHS game would be made up because that is a huge gate for the Warriors to have to pass up. But, I have not heard anything. It would be a shame if they didn't.
