Covcath/Newcath Predictions (1/15)

Featured Replies

Breds will travel to Park Hills Friday night to take on the Colonels.

Thoughts?

I'll take the Breds by less than 10.

I'd look for Geisler to keep Thelen in check down low and Pangallo to be too much for the Covcath guards.

Newcath 58

Covcath 51

Pangallo will go off in this one and Geisler is a better big man then Thelen IMO. I like both of their games but if I had to take one it would be Geisler.

I think NCC continues the Colonels woes at home and knocks em off.

NCC 75

CovCath 66

Not many players I would pay to see, I'd pay to watch Grant Pangallo.

Looking forward to watching the CovCath Frosh go up against the NCC Frosh in the CovCath vs NCC Triple Header Starting @ 4:15pm Friday night at CovCath.

As I have told a lot of CovCath fans, if you haven't see this CovCath Freshmen team play yet, you are really missing out! So come on out this Friday afternoon and watch them, as I honestly think they will impress you!

Some Cov. Cath. teams have performed exceedingly well in front of the home crowd. One section jam packed with the Colonel Crazies, a section of future Colonels, a section of NDA girls, a section of alumni and friends, a section of parents, a section of the band, etc. etc. When the crowd is up, there is no place better to watch a game than Cov. Cath. For whatever reason, the intensity of the home crowd has caused this year's squad to tighten up. The Colonels have played much better on the road than at home. Until I see something that makes me think otherwise, I have to predict this trend will continue. NCC is stacked this year. My heart is with the Colonels but my crystal ball says the Colonels will be behind by 10-14 points (give or take) by halftime leading to a comfortable win by the Breds.

And what section do I fit into? I take the colonels by 1 at the buzzer!

I hope your predicton is correct, and you fit into the Ansel Adams section. :thumb:

I'll see you guys in the old guy section as well tonight then.....

I see Geisler getting in foul trouble early and often tonight.

Thelan wins the battle of the big men and then hang on at the end.

Cov Cath - 65

New Cath - 60

CovCath in a close one by 4.

Do we know if Evans and Maschinot will be back for this one? We (Cov Cath) haven't lost anyone else have we?

clarification

What's wrong with Maschinot?

They were both out last game (Holmes) Evans - bad migraines, and Maschinot - back

I know no more than that
