More like Franklin Co is underrated. Congrats FC on a great win.

Vance Hall has been around for a while, same work ethic, same game. He just doesn't get the hype that Johnson and Hicks get. Johnson and Hicks tried double teaming Hall tonight and couldn't stop him. I was not impressed with either of Shelby County's stars. Niether can play defense. Let's face it, FC is a middle of the road 11th region team. FC lost 4 starters to graduation.

Where are all the doubters who said Franklin County could not compete. Glad to see Jennels playing well and Hall proving that he is one of the top players in the state. Keep it up Flyers.

Ithought Franklin would win.... But where is Beckley for Shelby? I can't believe he played and didn't score a point? Did he play? Shelby isn't the same team without him.

He did not play. I'm sure he would have made a difference, but would he have made that big a difference. I'm told he played on Hall's AAU team this summer as a reserve.

 

Bottom line is the refs didn't steal this one from Shelby. They simply got outplayed. Hall was the best player on the floor, Beckly would not have stopped him as Hicks and Johnson double teaming didn't help. If Beckly had been available they could gave tried triple teaming, but that would have resulted in assists for layups.

No he wouldn't guarded Hall. And I think Franklin still would have won. But if Beckley don't play Shelby County isn't the same team. He gives them a dimension they don't have other than him. Shelby is a good team but if 1 of their four main guys don't play their not anywhere close to as good.

It is a proven fact out of region teams don't win at Franklin County..... There isn't many out of region teams that win on the road out of region anywhere...

Good to see Brandon have a big game. He isn't very big but he always plays hard and gives great effort at both ends of the floor.

Awesome job by the Flyers. Wonder what happened to that "blowout" Shelby would put on FCHS. :lol::lol: Great game by Vance as usual and Jennels is becoming a consistent scorer. Then with Thompson finally playing to his potential, this team is getting an identity. Go Flyers. :ylsuper:

Shelby County has some nice players, but...did not use much bench, did not handle the ball well enough against good man-to-man defense and couldn't defend a player like Vance, and also Jennels last night.
