They need a qb but I can't think of a qb worthy of the #1 overall pick. The safe #1 would be Suh.

Which is why they end up taking Clausen IMO. They can have a great draft this coming year, and without addressing their QB needs, they won't see any improvement IMO. I agree Suh should be the pick, but fear it'll be Clausen.

Suh.

He'd be a nice complement to Chris Long and could be the foundation of a great D-line for years to come if it works.

The Rams have so much to fix, I don't think they need to focus all their attention on a QB. They need the best player and there's no doubt about who that is. They're still re-building, so they could get by with a free agent QB and maybe drafting one in the second or third round to sit and learn, like Miami did with Chad Henne.

Not to mention them making a solid pick with James Lauraniatis last season. They could build a good foundation similar to how Houston has. With Spagnuolo being a defensive guy, they may go that direction.

Sit and learn behind who? Kyle Boller, Keith Null??

This team needs a QB desperately. With the good ones (Bradford, Clasuen, & Mallet(if he comes out)) likely gone in the 1st round, they'd be basically throwing away another season if they don't go QB.

The only other option IMO, would be to try and trade down with a team like Washington and maybe bring someone like Campbell in and then draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd rounds and let him sit and learn.

Please tell me you had to look up Keith Null. If you knew he was a qb for the Rams it may be a sign of a problem.

He started the last 2-3 games for them, one of which was a televised 49-7 (or something close to that) thrashing given by the Titans....Sadly, I knew who he was. His college QB coach was Ryan Leaf at W. Texas State.

A boy named Suh is the safe pick but they need a long term QB

I never said they should head into 2010 with the same QB's they had this season. But, there are more ways to learn than watching someone else play...I reckon that's why coaches are employed by the team.

The Rams aren't going to be that good in 2010 regardless of who they draft. And, they have needs across the board. In that situation, I'd draft the best player available, especially when there's one as clear as Suh.

I guess its a matter of opinion. Many people believe you draft a QB regardless of what else you need and whether he's the best player. QB's are like any other position...good ones can be found after the first round, and hardly any are sure things. If there was a "can't miss" type QB like Peyton Manning, then certainly you go that route, but I don't rate Clausen that high.

They'll pick Suh. And, they could still be in position to get a QB next year, if necessary.

I think Suh is the type of player that teams will be willing to trade for, so if they're dead set on a QB, they should trade down and acquire some extra picks. They certainly should stay at #1 and pick anyone else, IMO.

I hope they take Suh and get a QB in the 2nd round.

I knew it because I'm in an Last Man Standing contest and have picked the team playing against the Rams for a few weeks.

Claussen is having surgery and will be out for a while.

I think Suh is the clear choice. Either him or an offensive tackle. No way I take Claussen or Bradford with the #1 pick.

Suh if they're smart. However, you don't typically pick first because of all of the brilliant picks you have made over the years. I don't think there are any franchise QB's out there. Seems to me that you could do about as well with your 2nd round pick at the QB position.

It would be different if there was a clear pick at the QB position. But, all of them have questions. If they stay at #1, anyone but Suh is a mistake. And, personally, I think staying there and taking him would be the best move, but I wouldn't fault them if they decided to trade down and acquire some extra picks. In recent drafts teams haven't been very willing to do that, but I think this will be a year that they will because Suh seems to be the clear guy at the top of the list.

Perhaps Dan Snyder will trade away the rest of his number one's for this decade to get him. :D

Rams want a QB, but I think they'll take Suh #1. Then I think they take someone like Colt McCoy in the 2nd round or so.
