Your a breath of fresh air. An SEC fan who is level headed. We definitely welcome the challenge of playing the Tide. You guys are awesome and our new wave of recruits are finally turning into upperclassman. I hope we get a shot next year to beat the man.

Just like you said Oregon didn't go from #5 to number 20 overnight, the Big 10 rep won't change over one win.

 

FWIW, I think the Big 10 has a better conference than the ACC and Big East. Usually I would take the Pac 10 and Big 12 over them though.

It was a great win for their fans. IMO they are a 5-10 program year in year out. They stopped a nice offense but played a really bad defense. That defense couldn't get off the field and cost Oregon the game IMO. They got beat at home by the worst USC team in years so it doesn't change a whole lot in my mind. Had they beat Florida this year I would think different. I think they will be good next year.

Yeah it was me and like CCC only who voted for OSU in the bowl bonanza I knew I would gain ground. Was hoping i'd be the only one but I swayed my man CCC. :lol:

 

That you did, man :thumb:. After the lovefest people have had with Pryor I decided to watch him a little more, and I think if he was used the right way OSU would be tough to stop. I think they are a legit contender next season, and (I thought I'd never say this) I'll probably pull for them to win it all if they beat the Canes. My buddy "Big Pig" would die if he were a member and saw that I said I'd root for OSU :lol:. He's a lifetime Buckeye fan and has given me garbage about the Canes since the infamous pass interference call.

It has to help, but not as much as it would have if it had been USC in the game. Oregon doesn't carry the same weight. Regardless, it would have been an even bigger hit had they lost.

 

I think Ohio State will be able to endure a few tough bowl losses. They aren't lacking for talent and likely never will be as long as Tressel is there.
