Bengals/Jets Updates

What do you mean? Is he changing his name back?

He did an interview before the game and said if they were able to stop him this week he would change his name back next week. He was "that confident" this game would go great for him.

The 2004 Colts and Broncos will tell you different.

Didn't the Colts start everyone and play them the first half? I think it might have been tied or close to it at half.

It would be hard pressed to find a player on the Bengals roster now that would have started ahead of any player for the Colts that year.

You folks that see a big turnaround win next week honestly think that we will score more than 10 or 13 points on these guys? Our offense is very poor and their "D" is outstanding. Unless it's a 13-10 or 10-7 type game, I think we're in trouble.

Palmer 1 for 11 for zero yards and 1 int.

The team has 7 yards rushing.

Has to be close to the worst statistical half in NFL history.

Him and Revis were sending texts during the week and Chad said something like if Revis shut him down he would change his name back to Chad Johnson for the game next week.

I can't see the NFL allowing that.

I can't see the NFL allowing that.

I do not think they have any say if he "legally" changes his name "again."

I think that is how he got around it before.

I just saying what he said, it was on NBC before the game.

The funny thing about this. Jets were a 10 pt favorite. Obviously gonna win easily. Cincy will be at least a 3 or 4 pt favorite next week. And they'll win IMO.

Bengals very vanilla and uninterested. Not to mention some key cogs not playing.

I look for cincy to take back to back beat downs...

Didn't he have to wait until the next football season before he could change the name on his jersey though?

It was a joke. People don't take Chad the right way. He and Revis are good friends. They went back and forth joking on twitter all week.

The story NBC did on it was even satirical.

He can't change his jersey during season, without going through all the legal crap...

Avatar challenge? :idunno:
