January 4, 201016 yr Someone needs to tell Rex that the playoffs don't start til next week. It's obvious he's playing to win. Which was pronounced in the 1st Quarter!!!
January 4, 201016 yr But our starting OL did nothing! Next weeks game might be a 3-0 win in OT for someone.
January 4, 201016 yr :thumb: The Jets will NOT run in right down their throats. The player I am worried about is Brad Smith. We'll be totally different team at home (I hope). Either way, I'm pumped. These things (Bengal playoff games) don't occur very often. Enjoy.

January 4, 201016 yr Find it hard to beleive that the Bengals are going to rise above the putridity of their performance in today's game and come back out firing on all cylinders next week. You can possibily make a semi-excuse for the defense since they are missing players, but the offense was just stone cold miserable on their own. I don't think we'll see any major improvement in the Bengal's offensive production next week, so I hope the defensive's improvement is very substantial.

Did you notice how vanilla the play calling was? It is always pretty vanilla, but never like tonight. They are holding back on both sides of the ball, it is obvious. Why show the Jets what you think will work?

Spoken like a life long Bengals fan(like me), who has learned to not get ones hopes up. To many disappointments. At least that is what history has shown us.
January 4, 201016 yr Its kinda like a high school first round playoff game and you just hope that your team scores.

They certainly weren't expected to make the playoffs this year. Enjoy what they've done so far and cheer for them to kick the crap out of the Jets next week. I can't wait for the game.
January 4, 201016 yr I think the Bengals will be fine. I don't think Sanchez can beat them next week. Bengals show up with a real game plan and win a playoff game IMO.

Why show the Jets what you think will work? The Jets have game tapes from 15 other games that will let them know what has been and has not been working for the Bengals. The Bengals aren't really "hiding" anything from them and they aren't going to be installing anything substantially new over the next 5 days. They simply need to get to work correcting the plays they should have been working these past weeks.
