I think Dayton will have a strong passing game this year with Rogg back at the QB position and with Sparks, Walton and Smith lined up as recievers.

There are two Smiths what positions are they playing? Are they brothers?

The two Smiths are not brothers. No relation at all to be exact. Just both solid athletes, ones named Timmy and the other is Jordan, both are sophomores at the moment and both playing basketball.

What does Dayton need to do to improve in 2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Most come already dressed in their game pants and cleats.

The Devils are coming back this year with new game uniforms, both home and away.

Rogg and Smith (Jordan) are both top prospects for this years position. Both have been at weights every day, competition is going to be good for these two this year.

I don't know much about Smith but Rogg IMO would be the best fit for Dayton at the QB position.

Like I said before Rogg IMO from watchin him as a Freshmen he see's the field alot better than the Smith kid did last year. Smith had a few rushing TDs but not many throwing yds or TDs. And Rogg has good leadership skills I think the kids would follow him more. They got a good group of kids that are young and got talent. they got some good skill players if they get the line together they could do some damage and IMO thats where it starts. Plus they got to play as A TEAM and not who scores the most TDs or rushes for more yards and put down your teammates for a mistake. Thats what I seen from this Varisty and JV teams last yr. But Like i said IMO. What do I know I just sit in the stands watching some football Leave the hard job to Coach D. BTW I think he doing a good job getting these kids in the weight room and making it fun for them.

Deaton said this is going to be our guy (QB). He is left handed and 6 ft 5. If he keeps working hard and gets better everyday, this kid will have a bright future with football. Where was Rogg at this year? How can he be a leader when he didn't even play this year. Jordan had to step up and play. Everybody will see what this kid is made of. You will be proven wrong!

Either way we still have 2 solid atheletes up for grabs in the QB position, lets not flame eachother. But! I see Rogg taking snaps this year, and Smith as a TE that's just my opinion.

I have heard and also saw on the internet that Coach Deaton is looking for a couple assistant coaches. Who is leaving?

 

I have also heard Montgomery applied for the Bellevue head coaching job. Is there any truth to that?
