Camp has been very successful for the Green Devils. Everyday 33+ kids coming to get work done. The line looks solid so does the backs and recievers, alot of speed this year on the field for the Devils.

Are we talking as fast as the 07 team that I belive went 8-3? Or is the speed like it had been since 07?

Not as much as the 07 team but more than 08, and 09.

I have been hearing talk around town that Jordan Smith and Thomas Rogg will not be playing this year due to some off issues in the classroom, can anyone confirm this?

Half of that statement is correct! Thomas rogg will not be playing football this season due to school issues but Jordan smith will be able he will be replacing Rogg at QB.

They have a young solid QB, I think his name is Jordan Smith he is going to be a junior and he is 6-5, he has decent speed and is a lefty and with a little bit more work he will be a heck of a player and a leader this year, I saw him play on the JV level and he dominated and had a lot of rushing tds, so I think Dayton has a good 2010 QB on there hands.

 

Look I'm very close with Jordan Smith. He has a lot of potential. Last year was his first time ever playing QB. He has a lot to learn but he is working very hard right now with coach Deaton. Deaton said this is going to be our guy (QB). He is left handed and 6 ft 5. If he keeps working hard and gets better everyday, this kid will have a bright future with football. Where was Rogg at this year? How can he be a leader when he didn't even play this year. Jordan had to step up and play. Everybody will see what this kid is made of. You will be proven wrong!

 

How are you close with him and you weren't even sure if his name earlier?

Maybe trying not to reveal himself to some people, who knows? I do know that they are good friends.
