If that were the truth they would not be where they are now. The classes they bring in are always over rated. Those players go from being a three star player to a 4 star player just because of where they sign. When they get on the field the truth comes out. :deadhorse:

Ty went on to UW where he proved how awful he is. Davie and Weis had no previous head coaching expeirence. If Kelly does fail you must look at the program not the coach.

Those guys have proven they were worth their ratings, they don't need to prove it in the NFL. Second the schedule is not getting down graded, if anything BK has mentioned adding in teams like Texas every year. I know they play Oklahoma and LSU in coming years too.

They are not close to a top 15 team. I was simply saying that Jimmy, Rudolph, Floyd, and Tate all are the real deal. Thats who Goldendomer referred to. They need big time defensive recruits. They need to win with a smash mouth defense like in the Lou Holtz days. Tony Rice was no Jimmy Clausen, not even close. But he was one of the winningest QB's all time for the Irish because he had a great defense and a guy named Rocket.
January 5, 201016 yr Just shows offense isn't everything. I am hoping BK and his staff develop some of the defensive players they already have and bring in some big guys.
