What position will he be playing, looks pretty solid on both sides of the ball.

He was told he could play RB or OLB his choice . . . he wants to play where he can help them the most.

Very nice reel. Power, speed, cutting ability and vision and it was clear that he was doing it against some quality opponents. I see some reels and it is full of highlights against obviously weak opponents. Not on this one. Congrats on playing at the next level!!

Watkins is a very good football player. Tough kid as well. Wofford is a GREAT fit for him. A very good program is getting a very good player!!

Mr. Football, IMHO.

Agree with whole post. Terrific player. Good luck Watkins! :thumb:

What a great player Caleb was with Corbin and he is going to a great football school.

Congrats Caleb!!

He has made a solid choice academically as well. Wofford is an excellent school, and this shows that Caleb has his priorities in order.

Caleb took 2 of his 5 official visits and has now (after visiting both schools) decided to play for EKU. He was offered a full scholarship (room, board, tuition, and books) He will redshirt next year (they do this with all incoming freshman if possible) and then play RB for them his final 4 years of eligibility. Wofford is an excellent school but it came down to EKU being closer home, having an available supplort network of friends and family relatively close, and they (EKU) have an Occupational Therapy program that is ranked 24th in the nation. GO COLONELS!

Caleb is a great person. He will make any college team better for being there. Good luck and GOD BLESS ! ! !

Good deal. Has he signed his scholly yet? I have not seen it announced in the local papers?

EKU is getting a good one. Good to see him stay in state!
