There two square off in the AIT. Your thoughts and predictions.

I'm going to try to make it to this one.

 

Christian County will be a very difficult out for the Royals. LOTS of talent and experience.

Christian has two very good PG in Hickey, 5'10 and Lewis, 6'0. Shaquille Wilson, 6'5 is rated the top player in the 2nd region. He is a excellent 3 point shooter and good defender. Donovan Kates is another one to watch. Christian Co applies constant pressure and has the ability to go on huge runs. Wonder if the long bus ride from the Western part of the state will have any bearing on how Christian Co plays?

 

Should be a interesting game.

I like Christian Co in this game. Their athleticism, quickness, and experience should be too much for the Royals to contend with.

 

This Christian Co team is flying under the radar a bit, but IMO can play with and beat anyone in the state.

 

Hickey v Gilbert and Wilson v Setty should be two great match ups.

Christian Co will likely roll out the following starting lineup:

 

5'10 Hickey

6'0 Lewis

6'4 McDuffen

6'5 Wilson

6'5 Kates

I like CC because of their athleticism. With the constant pressure they bring it will be tough for the Royals to keep up. Gilbert is a very good PG and quick but the PG's that CC has are probably a step quicker. Wilson should win the battle against Setty although I was impressed with Treg when he played Highlands.

I just don't think Mason has the athletes that Christian Co. has and it will be a difficult game for them to matchup.

Should be a tough game for Mason Co but I look for Coach O'Hearn to have his team ready to roll.

Hickey, Kates and Wilson will be huge! I remember making that trip in 1983 and it wasn't the long ride that doomed my Hopkinsville team it was the officials and Ashland's Chuck Cantrell equally!

Should have 16th region officials in this one. Will be interesting how both teams adjust to how the game is called.
