It is so hard to tell if its the lack of a deep threat, Brat's predictable offense. Carson deserves some of it as I said in the Jets recap why is not not in sync is alarming. He is an NFL caliber QB but he is not in the top 10 right now.

I think it really might be time to atleast start kicking the idea around. If they can get a good one in round 2...make the move.

No way they go as high as a 4... MAYBE a 3 for a QB. Carson is the QB for the next few years at least. McCoy in the 4th why not? Something is wrong with the offensive system I think it is more to do with the calling.

I disagree. You go early or you don't go at all. Why get another 3rd string QB. McCoy goes before 4th. If not, then I take all I said back, and get him there.

 

Here is a list of QB's that will be in the draft. Unless some better names pop up there, McCoy is the only QB they take off that list, and I see no way he makes it out of the 2nd.

^I think Bill Stull could be an interesting pickup for Cincy or any team in the later rounds. He's got decent size and has experience in a pro style offense.

Going back to your Benson post, I think Palmer is the one who could have 6 good years. We can't write him off yet until a year with a diff system and some receivers who can catch the ball. Sure he has been off on passes but you can't write him off yet.

That thumbs up was for the statement about the problem being the offensive system. I'm against drafting a QB.
