Yes. He talked to Coach Strong on the phone Sunday and his scholly was confirmed.

Over the course of the last week or so, I think it has become clear UK needed a decision and one didnt come.

So Patterson will be the "poster child" of UL recruiting in Louisville.

For those that know, what are U of L's academic standards? Are they relatively low at all? If so, I think Strong is going to make U of L a major player in the state of Florida.

UofL had a nice pipeline to Fla. before Kragthorpe got here. I think Strong will get his fair share from there. I don't know the standards though.

I'm thinking of a few players that may have major grade problems right now, and I'd say with Strong, (if those guys could get) in to U of L the Cards would probably have a decent shot IMO. Should be interesting.

Ballard Jr. Devante Parker also committed to the Cards. Strong start for Charlie...

19 (if the transfer coutns toward next years total) with Corvin Lamb. Huge get there IMO. Strong is doing work. I'm pretty sure they have 25 to give.

Word is they just locked up Ballard's Devante Parker as well. If so, HUGE get for Strong and company. Parker was attracting big-time national attention and to keep him in Louisville is very big for the new regime at UL.

UofL has now got 4 commitments tonight, and one transfer from Iowa.

 

Devante Parker, Jamon Brown and Jerrell Moore (all from the city) have committed for the 2011 class. That gives UofL 4 city prospects that have verballed in that class.

 

They also received the verbal from speedster from FLA, Corvin Lamb.

 

Word is Zack Stoudt is transferring to a JC too. Busy day for Strong.
