December 14, 200916 yr Author I like it when an incoming Head Coach can honor a kids decision, but understand if he cannot. I would be suprised if he kept all 17 recruits. I would say half of them may not.
December 15, 200916 yr He's about 6'1 that's decent size for a quarterback I mean I prefer someone 6'4 or 6'5, but his athleticism makes up for that. If he's 6'1", I am 6'5", but the program at Western said 6'2".....know what I mean?
December 15, 200916 yr Yes, I seen him over the summer at some 7 on 7 stuff. BTW String has called and told Quan Weaver of Frankfort that he will honor the scholarship offer. Weaver is staying with the Cards. I think he'll stand behind all the current commits' offers. Just a hunch....but he's sticking with most...he thinks this class is pretty good already.
December 15, 200916 yr If he's 6'1", I am 6'5", but the program at Western said 6'2".....know what I mean? Exactly we probably will never know his true height. Do you think he'll be a quarterback at UL though?
December 15, 200916 yr UK just got a huge recruit out of Florida, and schollies are running short. I think taking the verbal from the kid from Florida means UK is moving on without Patterson.
December 15, 200916 yr ^ I am inclined to feel the same....I feel confident that Patterson will commit before Thursday.
December 15, 200916 yr I think there are some concerns about grades and rehab of Patterson's knee...could be a grayshirt candidate for either school.
December 15, 200916 yr I also have heard that grades are a major issue...I would like to lock this commit up either way......just another example of how Strong could lock down the 'Ville. You have Parker next year, and the potential at Quick later on, though he may play round ball......Strong needs to close the Jefferson County border, regardless of academics and other happenings.
December 15, 200916 yr Havent they pretty much owned Jefferson County aside from Central? Kind of, but CSK lost some power....CCS should be able to bring that back, and add Southern Indiana, and Central....at worst Louisville now has the potential to bring all wanted Jefferson County candidates to the 'Ville.
December 15, 200916 yr Patterson has been a UK lean for a while, I hope UofL hiring a defensive minded coach sways his interest. However, it may be too little too late and as you all mentioned, there seems to be other issues being speculated. RP I'm with you, I'd still love to see him come to UofL with his teammate. I'm also glad to see Quan Weaver still committed, hopefully he fully recovers from his injury. He's a good looking prospect.
December 15, 200916 yr UK just got a huge recruit out of Florida, and schollies are running short. I think taking the verbal from the kid from Florida means UK is moving on without Patterson. Right on! Mike Douglas seems to be the physical equivalent of Tim Patterson. I have been told that UK has moved on, mostly due to academic issues.

I agree 100% you have to lock down Jefferson County and keep them. That has been the biggest mistake with UofL recruiting.
