As of tomorrow, he will have been an assistant at Florida.....DC and associate Defensive Coordinator....it is expected that he'll bring Gonzalez (wr coach), as the new OC, Gonzo also serves as the recruiting coordinator for UF....this could be a very dramatic hire for Louisville.....the talent level could upgrade almost immediately.

I agree 110%. This would really tap into the Florida talent pool which would be a HUGE boost for the Cardinals.

However, if I were and AD hiring a head coach, ... I admit that I would pick Strong over Joker. More accomplishments, ties to Florida recruiting, this hire should be a home run.

I don't know why you have to bring this up but there are a lot of coaches out there that we would rather have than Joker. It is what it is and UK is not in the market for a coach at this time. Great hire for UL and will improve things for the cards. Florida will still get the recruits they want from that state, but the door will be open for some of the others.
