I would not count on either of them. One wants to pursue baseball and the other has a terrible injury.

I think Jac will be bigger than Austin. It is just a matter of how he develops. I don't think he was as advanced as a freshman as Austin was.

He may be in the discussion come next Fall. I sure wouldn't rely on what you read on here when guessing whether Jac will make a big contribution to the varsity next year.

Holmes lost 14 seniors. Most of their skill players come back. They played mostly underclassmen this year. They lose key big guys like lowe, jenkins and calemino which will be hard to replace but they will again be fast. If a few key linemen step up then it will be another district title.

 

 

SK and Ryle should be the best two teams in 6A. Can't see CovCath or Dixie touching the Birds in 5A. Beechwood is easily the class of 1A and NC in 2A. I hope that Holmes has another good year as our only 4A team up this way. Starting the season, I would say the NKY rankings look something like:

1)Highlands

2)Ryle

3)SK

4)Beechwood

5)CovCath

6)Dixie

7)NC

8)Conner

9)Boone

10)Holmes

 

I really don't know much about what Conner, Boone and Holmes have coming back.

Austin Sheehan will make his mark next year as a receiver for Highlands. Tremendous football speed and runs great routes.

 

My thoughts exactly Dixie. If you don't know who is now, you will next year. He and Towles will be working very hard together over the next year to get their timing and routes down, as will the other receivers for HHS. Ozzy has afterburners and hands of glue. He will be a factor for HHS next year. He was left off of another thread about next years impact players that will step up for HHS next year, but I think that had to be an oversight, or the poster was just not letting the cat out of the bag about AS because Dale certainly knows of his abilities I asure you.:sssh:

IMO Cooper continues to make great strides next year and moves past Boone and Campbell, possibly Conner. They will be a NKY Top 10 team next year.

I will say it will begin from now till the season starts, whom ever does the conditioning and stregth train with the basics will show on the field and who is coached the best will show on the field with all teams. Yes Ryle has a lot coming back but will they dominate who knows only time will tell. So to say coachs teach and preach have your leaders show the way and together they will win.

Jac is a totally different type of runner than AC. Jac has long strides and AC is more of a short choppy type runner. Jac reminds me a lot of the way his pops used to run after catching passes.

How tall is Jac? In the most recent photos posted he looks like he's over 6'.
