I love how MTV played the heck out of the punching clip for the show promos and the trailors for next weeks episode, then decides not to show it all of a sudden because its a criminal act. Nice job MTV.

Season 2 from South Beach gets underway tonight. Season 3 is currently in production back in Seaside Heights. I cannot believe I am looking forward to this. The cast have become somewhat national icons.

It is rumored that Snookie and The Situation could be making as much as $45,000 an episode! They were paid $10,000 an episode the first season.

I am totally pumped for the premiere.

OK, so, in the future, when folks from around here whine that "hillbillies are the only people left that it's OK to make fun of," can we go ahead and ask them if they watch this show? I just can't help but recall all the hand-wringing when CBS was planning the "New Beverly Hillbillies" or some other such "(un)reality" TV show focusing on Appalachian folks, and wonder how "Jersey Shore" is any different?

The state of New Jersey has caught a lot of criticism since this show started. I do not get the impression the North Easterners care much for the Jersey Shore.

I certainly think of New Jerseyans differently.

Funny what happens when the mirror's shined back at 'em.

My friend described it perfectly the other night when I was curious as to what it was all about. He stated that it was "an entire weekly hour of 'My New Haircut.' " Those of you unfamiliar with My New Haircut, please youtube it. I don't recommend children watching though.

There are all kinds of parodys of that now, the crackhead one is the best though. :D Can't touch the original though, but some of the parodys are really funny and well done.

I just lost a few IQ points after watching that show. LOL

Yeah I am convinced I get dumber each time it comes on.
