ND has won like 1 bowl game in the past 16 seasons. Kentucky had been struggling, but they had won 2 national championships, been the #1 seed in the NCAA tournament and been a player on the national scene for a long time, with the exception of last year.
November 29, 200916 yr Well... its alleged the same reasoning why Cal left for UK... Even if you do want to make that comparison, many thought it would've been crazy for Billy The Kid to leave Florida for Kentucky after winning multiple national titles at Florida.

November 29, 200916 yr Continous success only lasts so long in one spot. Then high unrealistic expectations are made. That's all i'm saying... I don't think ND will get Urban. I just don't think he'll be at Florida as long as some think.

Steve Spurrier does not equal most coaches. Lou Holtz was talking about this as well. He said that he tells Urban that all of the time. 10 years seems short but it's probably about right. Paterno and Bowden are exceptions in the modern era but even they've had their bad years. Look at all the garbage Bowden is going through and the types of things people said about Joe Pa a few years ago.
