After Tilghman lost by three touchdowns to McLean County on October 16, was there one single person in the state who expected this to happen?

The Jackson Purchase will be very well represented in Bowling Green next weekend.

3A is the worst class in the state. But it's all about who you play and with Belfry and Central down this year we get two new teams which is welcomed in my opinion. I wouldn't mind seeing Paducah win after finishing the regular season with a losing record.

After seeing what MANY teams Central played were able to do to their defense, this one is no shocker. I had said Central wouldn't make it, and the east will win the title.

Great year for Paducah Tilghman and one of great programs in the state, it is good to see them back in the state championship sence 1992 team did it. I must say this is the first team to finish the regular season with a losing record at 4-6 and make it to the state title game. What a job the coaching staff has done at Paducah Tilghman keeping the kids on message, and yes what a job the kids have done keeping the dream a live, when no one believe in this team. What a story this is what a team, this is why I love high school football in this state. Congats to Paducah Tighman on beating the two time defending state champs.

I think PT owes a thank you to Western Hills and Henry County for giving Central a good pounding. They were pretty beat up going into this game. :isurrender:

It is. And the Central team that rolled into Paducah bore, by my understanding, little resemblance to the team that was playing the 6A powers tough earlier this season.

I really don't think you do. This Tilghman team should be 11-3 or 12-2, not 8-6, and the fact they're still alive just demonstrates how weak 3A is, even at the higher levels.
