In an interview with Andrew Bolt Of the Herald Sun about the climategate e-mails, Al Gore said that the most recent one was 10 years old, when in reality the most recent e-mail was about 6 weeks ago. Al still does not have anything right about anything related to the global warming debate.

You suppress your oppostion when they bring up the truth. I read an article on aol.com by James Graff this morning. It was titled "Cap and Trade Model Loses Billions to Fraud". The article details how organized crime has stolen $7.4 billion dollars in the last 18 months related to Europe's green programs.

Breitbart.com has an article that states that the glaciers in Switzerland melted at faster rate in the 1940's than in recwnt years due to SUNSHINE. Yet the supporters of global warming have a 'but' in there to make way for the phony science of global warming.

In Tuesday's Kentucky Enquirer an article about what turned out to be false information that Al Gore gave on polar ice included a chart on CO2 emmisions. The chart shows the US giving off 192 million less tons of CO2. Europe and Australia, combined, reduced their CO2 emmisions by 113 million tons.

 

Meanwhile, China, by itself gave off 490 million additional tons of CO2 and India released 134 million extra tons. Russia, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, South Africa, South Korea, and Indonesia combined for an additional 153 million tons.

 

The amount of reduction by the US, according to Michael Barone, is half of what we need to meet the goals that were set for the US without us signing any treaty, new laws or additional taxes. All of us want to keep the world clean. Conservatives believe the market place and the will of the people will acccomplish that job. While the 'Cap and Tax' crowd wants taxes, laws and government bureaucrats to do the job. It seems as if the conservative way is working without wasteful, tax and spend government trying to do it.

 

So once again, why do we need a treaty that will give away our tax money to people who are the real polluters and who can afford to pay for their own enivornmental cleanup? In fact we can make some money by selling them the technical know how and equipment, so they can clean up their own messes.

I'm no expert but I know a lie when I see one. So I'm just going to load my smoke blowing oil throwing chain saw into my gas hog hot rod bass boat, pull it all to the Ohio river with my V8 armoured Z71 at about 12mpg for truck and 3 yes I said 3mpg hot rod boat, fly up the river at top speed, get out at my farm on the river and cut down a tree. I wonder if everyone who is living in an area of colder than normal temps, record cold temps, or record snowfall are enjoying global warming? Such as Memphis or the orange growing areas of Florida with colder than normal temps or Vermont that has record snowfall. Iowa is suffering with temperatures 30 degrees below normal or South Korea having their worst snowstorm in 70 years. Beijing has its coldest temps in 40 years and Miami has its coldest temps in 10 years. Wonder how bad it would be if we did not have so-called man-made global warming.

I agree it is up to debate. And the level of CO2 and temprature track each other. But what is the cause and what is the effect? Is CO2 a lead or a lag? The Vostok ice samples are not clear. But it it clear that they show a a dominant cycle of temperature that happens around every 100,000 years and likely not man-made - unless we were around 400,000 years ago.

1. Four times in the period, (ie, roughly every 100,000 years) the temperature has quickly shot up to 2°C - 3°C above today's and then slowly slipped back to about 8°C below today's temperature. It looks as though the Earth's complex, non-linear climate system has two stable states and flops rhythmically from one to the other.

 

2. We are currently hovering near the top of a cycle and an ice-age seems to be due. However, comparing today's position with the 4 previous peaks suggests that the temperature should have reached 2°C or more some 10,000 years ago, but it hasn't. If anything, the world is now somewhat colder than we might expect.

Over long periods in this data, it is temperature that comes first and and by several thousand years (except for a short period about 340,000 years ago). Al Gore, in his film, seems not to have noticed this detail.

 

7. In an area of science where experiments are hard to do, nature has given us 4 repetitions. The Vostock core clearly shows that when the temperature reaches 2°C a mechanism kicks in which sets the temperature falling again and initiates an ice-age. Since this mechanism has repeatedly worked well after 100,000 years of disuse, it seems to be robust.

 

 

I noted the 100,000 year cycle in the Vostok ice cores in the above post. Guess what has a 100,000 cycle with associated shorter cycles - the earths orbit distance from the sun, its axis wobble and its appogee and perigee points.
