November 24, 200916 yr Hoosiers Varsity Blues Remember the Titans Coach Carter Any Given Sunday I love sports, but I'm not really a big sports movies kind of guy. Maybe it's because there are so few quality basketball movies, and it's my favorite sport. If you haven't seen Hoop Dreams, check it out. Great documentary for basketball fans.

Many "lists" of top sports-themed movies include Rudy; it just didn't do it for me. If I want to see a football movie, there are several others I prefer. There are even a couple that I didn't list that I like better - North Dallas Forty, The Waterboy, Varsity Blues.

November 24, 200916 yr I don't like the Yankees. Pride of the Yankees is great. Don't care one way or another about the Hoosiers. Love the movie. I don't like Notre Dame. I don't like Rudy. When I see Sean Astin in Rudy I wonder if Sam Gamgee ate him a couple of years later.
