I think there is a handful. But I highly doubt he will disclose this school until a certain high school all american all star game in Jan. Just my guess though.

Not sure if he has been invited officially to any of those games but I am just guessing he will be since I believe he was selected Pre-season on most all american teams and unless something has drastically changed throughout the season I see him being selected to many of the final season teams. Dont know for sure, but I would imagine he will get invited to play in one of te big games, either the Army Game or the Underarmour Game.

As far as Mr. Football is concerned, I have no idea what the criteria is but I would find it hard to believe that a player could/would win after missing four games on the season. Now I'm not saying he isn't one of the top players in the state, his colllege offers will tell you he is, but something tells me the winner will be someone closer to the heart of the state. I'm also not saying he can't play RB on the next level either, (as I speak he just got his name dropped on national TV by Al Michaels). On the D1 level I think he will be either a Wr or Db.

 

My guess is its probably the same criteria that this awards goes by. Didnt seem to bother the committee that handed out this very prestigious award to someone that missed 4 games. I wonder where the rest of the field finished in voting and why they didnt win. :idunno:

We can all have a legitimate debate as to what player (and there are a few) deserves the top player award. AC is certainly in the debate. Not many players have played 3 years at a high level at 3 different positions. So, if he gets named its hard to argue.

 

What cannot be argued is that the young man has shown not only a high level of performance but, more importantly, a strong work ethic , strong classroom performance, and seemingly overall a fine young man. He has represented himself, his family, HHS, and NKY very well .

I don't think anyone on here would argue this fact.

 

Does anyone know what the criteria is for Mr. Football? If it is ability or potential I think AC is a lock. If it is this years performance I think some others would have to be considered as well such as Mr. Simpson. What a pleasure for NKY having two legitimate candidates for Mr. Football.
