:laugh: :lol: I've seen these boys play in person this season. And yes they are very good. But I don't think I'll be seeing them playing for the Buckeyes. I think we should get one thread labeled Highlands(best team in the bluegrass state). That way there wouldn't be 10 threads saying all the same thing. And 10 other ones arguing that they get the invisible trophy for bieng the best team in the Cincinnatti area. And before a birds fan gets upset I'm just kidding(kinda).

What kind of defense do they run? 3-4? 3-5? 4-3?

 

Hard to "pigeon hole" the HHS defense, but I would say it most closely resembles a 3-4 or 3-5 on most occasions. That said, a few weeks ago they were running a defense best characterized as a 0-7 with no down lineman and everyone running around like bees were chasing them.

 

Regardless of the initial alignment, you normally will find 11 helmets flying toward the ball when the whistle blows.

I hate the buckeyes more than just about anyone. But they tend to have a very good linebacker core. That's what I was getting at.

I see your point.(thanks for explaining.) Penn State is known for linebackers,and I personally find them much easier to root for.
