I'm taking JC by 12 if they can take care of the ball. The fumble bug has been a real problem with this team. If they can overcome that then they will suprise the Highlands faithful. If they have more than 1 lost fumble then they will have a hard time beating Highlands.

JC will be lucky to score against the Highlands starters. This HHS team is better than last year and JC is no where near as good....GO BIRDS!!!

I got laughed at almost as much when JC was 0-4 and I said that they would win their district. They won it.

I got laughed at when I said that they would beat a Belfry team that they have never beaten. Beat'em

 

I have the utmost of respect for Highlands, but my opinion is right there in black and white. I do really enjoy messing with the bird faithful but this prediction is my true opinion. I'll eat crow if need be, but there is just something about this team that the record and scores just don't show. I would have thought that the Highlands fans would have learned that last year at Johnson Central?

Dixie had a nice turnout. Did they, maybe, have even more fans than us? It looked pretty close from our vantage point.

HHS don't go into this game with JC too over confident. JS is huge up front and has some very good speed and size for their RB"S and their QB can indeed fly.

 

If there is a problem with JC, it is with the lack of depth as I guess they don't play more than 15 to 16 players. Their entire backfield including the QB goes both ways.

 

If you have seen past JC teams play (Mountain Football) you have seen JC play this year.

 

HHS administration/coaches/AD/fans please be as nice and as hospitable as possible to these outstanding folks from South Eastern Kentucky and show them that we in NKy can be just as gracious they are to us from NKy.

 

Thanks in advance from Theoldguy and if the weather is nice I will be over to watch this game as I think it will be better than some think.

 

IF JC can make a stop or two against HHS and JC just grinds/grounds it out, this game could be a lot closer than many HHS fans think, but that if is a big IF......

I think Scott put up most of their points against JC's 2nd teamers.

 

However, CCH put up 32 so that measuring stick I think is more relevant. If JC can't pass, then they could be in for a rough night. Highlands can stop the run. JC will probably get a bunch of yards like last year, but putting the ball in the endzone will be tough.

 

Big OL's won't hurt HHS, they've seen a few of those this year. I think the Ryle games prepared this team for JC.

 

If JC's not deep, then they better be the best conditioned team in the state because the Birds will beat on them all night long on both sides of the ball.

That is a pretty interesting comparison. JC's probably better now than they were then, but not sure if they're 25+ better.

I think there is a difference between Frosh play and Varsity playoff games...

 

Secondly, have we ever not been gracious hosting a visiting team and fans to HHS? We can't do anything about the parking situation and lack of fast food eateries but we love big crowds and Friday night football in Ft Thomas....
