Yet another Best Burger Thread

Featured Replies

Went to Mad Mike's again recently . Very, very good. The best fries I've had in quite a while.

There are plans for a second location. TBD.

Ate there last Friday. Great Shroom Burger! I agree about the fries. Burger and fries are greasy, a wonderful, spectacular kind of greasy!

Glad to see that Mad Mike's is getting good pub. I have to go back before the diet begins.

Had the burger with blue cheese, mango chutney, and cilantro mayo at Mad Mike's. Outstanding.

Last week I had CincySportsFan recommend that I get the Thurman Burger at the Thurman Cafe in Columbus. It was out-freaking-standing!

Took a few family members to Pee Wee's today. Had the burger that is a grilled cheese sandwich with a beef patty. Very tasty.

I guess that would make it a grilled cheese burger.

Jack In the Box is opening this summer in West Chester. Anyone ever had the pleasure?

Clyde, did you ever make it to Laha's in Hodgenville?

No. I haven't been through there lately. On the list.

Tell me again how far it is from Louisville.

Will take you roughly an hour depending on where you are in Louisville. I've made it from my house (Downtown/Highlands area) in under an hour.

Thanks to FKW for this outstanding recommendation. The entire square is cool. Laha's burgers are small but very, very tasty and cooked on a grill that's probably 50 years old. 6 seats at the counter. Sat with some old-timers. Great vibe. Get the onions on the burger.

Well worth the 10 mile drive off of 65 on my way to Nashville.

Five Guys has opened at the Levee.
