Give me a brake. Coach A should go. How many times can you run the ball up the middle. Against Rock #41 had a monster game with 3td catchs. He does not touch ball against HC. Very poor play calling and that is Coach A

 

#41 did catch one pass. It is hard to throw when the pressure is on a young QB like the other night. He'll get more experience and get better. Many fans see lots of plays stopped in the backfield before they get started and assume that every play is up the middle. There were not that many actually designed to go there.

Is there any talk about the future of Coach A? I know he is a good coach, but is it time for a change? Seems like year after year come playoff time the warriors can't advance.jmo

 

I have been a critic of Coach Anderson's 7-14 playoff record and losing a lot of games as a higher seed in the past. However, this year's team exceeded expectations and honestly, I thought it was an upset when SW won in week 1. That being said I thought they would win again Friday but I don't think it was really much of an upset--Harlan County had a very good team. The Warriors will have very high expectations next season and should be judged more on that outcome than this season's playoff performance.

I'm so proud of all these boys! The defense was awesome again. They were in the backfield after that QB all night long...he didn't know what to do, except throw it away I don't know how many times and got a few intentional grounding calls. :ylsuper:

Harlan County's defensive front was very impressive. They set the tone for the game and took Southwestern out of its offense.

 

They have to do the same next week, and the Harlan County secondary will have to be better than it was against Letcher Central the last time. I wouldn't count on Johnson to miss open receivers again.

I was astounded at how HC shut down or held SWP (the 3rd most rushing yards) to under 50 yards rushing. Great game Bears!
