Congratulations to Ricky Buckler. Tonight he became Bellevue's all-time leading scorer and set the single game rushing record. :notworthy:

What were the numbers for these two records? Congrats!

364 yards and 4 tds on 49 carries. Set the school record for career points and most yards in a game at Bellevue. I believe he's about 290 yards away from the career rushing record. Saw him take quit a few shots tonights. What a tough kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No surprise by the outcome of the game, and also congrats to Buckler on that achievement. I know in the past I have had a problem with how he got all his yards, when he was still playing in the 4th quarter of blowouts. However this from the score, was a good game and he needed to be in there in the 4th quarter and was smart to give him all those carries to make sure they secured the win. It was a good win by Bellevue, Coach Eckstein has done a really good job with his team this year. If they can find away to get by Beechwood, then they really might be able to make a run at making it to state this year.

Is LCA on the same side of the bracket or the opposite? If they are on the same side of the bracket, then I don't see either Beechwood or Bellevue making it to the title game. However if they are on the opposite side, I will say that it would be either Bellevue or Beechwood in that title game.

Hats off to Buckler, those are some impressive stats.

Ricky is a very tough kid. That is 86 carries in 2 weeks. Plus defense, kicking off and returning kicks. That is a lot to ask of a kid in my opinion. Congrats on the records RB.

So he's not punting?! Lollygagger!

Hat off to the Lloyd team. By far the hardest Bellevue has been hit all year. Lloyd came out ready to play and ready to hit. There was absolutely no quit in this team. If they go into the play offs with this attitude they can make a little noise. Best of luck to the Juggs the rest of the way.

Does anyone know what Buckler's official rushing stats are for his career after last nights unbelievable performance?

He broke Mike Sutkamp's career scoring mark by 1pt by scoring his 436th point I believe and he broke Jon Sutkamp's single game rushing record which was 324. He has a chance to break the Career rushing record set by Mike Sutkamp and I think it is like 4,996.

Best part about this kid is he is undersized for a RB, tough as nails and always compliments his offensive lineman.

LCA is on the other side of the bracket. The team Beechwood/Bellevue have to get by to get to the title game is Mayfield. They seem to be a state champion quality team this year and they have the home field advantage in the state semis.

Both teams would have to get by Frankfort first whom even though they have lost their best two players for the year will still be a formidable opponent.

True. I believe Bellevue's path is Gallatin County, then the winner of Frankfort/Brossart, then Bellevue gets the winner of Beechwood/Trimble/Ludlow/Eminence if they can get by Frankfort at Frankfort. That will be no easy task as Beechwood can attest to after the past couple of years. The regional winner out of those teams will then likely play Mayfield at Mayfield in the semi-state.
