October 29, 200916 yr He will have 4 segments through the two hour show to debate Skip. Typically "1st and 10" is replayed at 2:30 EST on ESPN2, which will be just Chad/Skip in a half hour segment.
October 29, 200916 yr Author I'm watching the replay right now and so far, I'm hating Skip more than I've ever hated him before. How can he predict the Bengals going 8-8? :idunno: That means they'd finish the season 3-6? I can't see it.
October 29, 200916 yr I wish Chad would have punched Skip in the head. I really dislike Skip, everything he talks about seems wrong!

Agreed but he just can never admit he's wrong. It's unbelievable. He couldn't even give Chad any credit for his 573 yards this season so far. He gave all the credit to the rest of the team for his success this season

The Bengals play @ Oakland, Cleveland, Detroit, and Kansas City at home. That right there equates to at least 3 wins (8-8), maybe 4 (9-7).
October 30, 200916 yr Skip said LeBron and Adrian Peterson are overrated  Just a general statement about the term "overrated." People automatically assume when you say "overrated", that they believe he or she is no good... that is hardly the case. Sadly I watch 1st and 10 everyday to watch Skip's antics. LeBron was his MVP last season in the NBA, but he does not feel he has done enough or proven enough to be known as the NBA's new Michael Jordan and that is the scale is grading him on. There is a lot of truth to that (lack of clutch moments, no rings), but the levels he will go to try and prove it are sometimes extremely idiotic. Again, a lot is just for show.

This is for a different debate, but when the best player you've ever played w/ is Mo Williams and you've won the Eastern conference and been to the Eastern finals another time you're really good if not great. He's 24 I think. James is "rated" right where he belongs. If scoring 25 straight points against Detroit a few years ago and getting countless points in the 4th quarter of playoff games when nobody on your team is a capable scorer isn't clutch what is?
October 30, 200916 yr Skip does exactly what ESPN wants him to do, which is to be controversial so people will talk about him & ESPN, good or bad. Like bugatti said, he is right a good portion of the time.

I could handle the LeBron overrated comment. Just not AP. But I know what you're saying. I love Skip Bayless, he's great I watch him almost everyday as well!

While not surronded with other great offensive players. He has played on one of the better defensive teams in the league during those years. They have a star player who can score, and other players that are going to play hard defense and keep the other team from scoring a lot. That is a good combination to have. Put some better offensive players on the team, and their defense probably is not as good, and they still might not win the title then. It just shows people only look at offense when deciding when people are good. Lebron has played on really good teams, they have just been defensive teams. It might not be as pretty as high scoring teams, but a very good defensive team is a very good team too. I am tired of hearing that Lebron has done it on his own. The defense they play evens out the lack of other offensive studs they have.

Last year was by far the best team Lebron ever played for and in the Eastern Finals 4 of the best 5 players on the floor were on the same team. It wasn't his. It isn't March 31st really is it? Am I on punked? The best player Lebron has ever played w/ is Mo Williams. Mo freaking Williams. Take some time and look at the last 20 champions. Compare the second best player on those teams to Mo Williams. I'm not sure we should even get to the 3rd best players.

That is what I said in the original post and you obviously missed that again. I said offensively he is not surrounded by much, but defensively he has some of the best guys around him to play team defense. If it wasn't for the great defense they play, he wouldn't have made it has far as he has some years. That is why I say don't act like he plays on bad teams and does it himself. He gets help in other ways, and that is on the defensive side. All teams in the NBA can score, teams who can play defense are the teams who do the best. Take away some of those guys and put better offensive players on that team, and they still might not win it all because they might not play as good of defense then.
